The Manual Osteopathy Association of Manitoba (formerly Manitoba Osteopathic Association) was founded in 2016 as an independent, voluntary, non-for-profit association, promoting the professional practice of manual osteopathy, creating and supporting standards for safe and effective treatment and building a platform to unite all manual osteopathic practitioners within our province. In the future, the MOAM will also organize continued education for our practitioners to advance the knowledge of manual osteopathy in Manitoba.

We are a professional practice association that promotes the goals of osteopathic manual practitioners in Manitoba and advocates for them. We support our members (practitioners with a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice, or “Osteopathic Manual Practitioners”) as well as students of manual osteopathy (or osteopathic manual therapy) and public individuals that have interest in our work.
